I'm pretty sure Bentley had to go to Russia for a while related to his work. They had a welcome home party for him when he returned and he talks about Russia.

But then Sammy disappeared after moving in during season 8 and so far has not appeared once in season 9. Lionel also hasnt appeared in season 9 and supposed to be in Japan
