I just saw that episode. It was called "The Dinner Party" and aired in November 1973, but "Happy Days" started in January 1974. So he actually appeared on MTM before he was big time.
Also, Happy Days was on ABC while MTM was CBS, and I doubt he'd have been allowed to do MTM while working on Happy Days since they were rival networks.

Yeah he came with Rhoda and it was in 1973. I thought it was the 1977 ep and didnt realize it was a flashback. Someone called me from the dating app and I wasnt paying attention:lol::lol:
