Over the years and decades, I've heard from some people 2nd and 3rd hand accounts of those who had monkeys as pets: they make terrible pets to the point you'd want to kill the thing. They'll wreck your house, steal things, and harm you. One guy said it's like having the brattiest hyperactive 2-year old kid you've ever seen, but with the strength of a street thug.

Wow I can’t imagine what that monkey could really do. Ward acts like its a riot Beaver is bringing home a good size monkey. That’s the last thing I would have.
