An additional alternative, in honor of Turkey Day this upcoming Thursday, would be the third--and final--Diff'rent Strokes/Hello, Larry hour-long crossover episode "Thanksgiving Crossover" (from season two)...I still watch it every year while I'm gobbling down leftovers!

"W" for Whitman Mayo, who guest-starred as Arnold and Willis' would-be relative and almost legal guardian, junkman Jethro Simpson, in season two's two-part episode "The Adoption." Whitman is, of course, best known for his role as Fred G. Sanford's dim-witted best friend (and occasional partner-in-crime) Grady Wilson on "Sanford And Son."

"H" for local diner/greasy spoon (and one of Arnold's favorite neighborhood hangouts) Hamburger Heaven.

"I" for "ice skating." In season five's "Family On Ice," Kimberly aspires to become a figure skater after impressing legendary figure skating champion Dorothy Hamill (guest-starring as herself) with her ice skating skills, only to quickly discover that ice skating isn't as glamorous as it appears to be and begins to have second thoughts about her ambitions; in real life, Dana Plato was an accomplished figure skater.

"J" for Jason Hervey, who had a recurring role during the eighth and final season as Charlie, one of Arnold's buddies and fellow classmates, more than two years prior to being cast as Wayne Arnold on The Wonder Years.

"K" for NBA legend Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, who guest-starred in two unforgettable episodes as Arnold's no-nonsense but sympathetic English teacher Mr. Wilkes.

"L" for Lisa Hayes, Arnold's pompous classmate and occasional rival, memorably portrayed by Nikki Swasey Seaton.

"M" for McLean Stevenson, who portrayed Portland, Oregon radio talk show host (and Mr. Drummond's pal and former Army buddy) Larry Alder in a recurring guest role during the first two seasons.
