Since I've already posted this entry for "Z" previously, I've decided to post it once again for those who may have missed or ignored it the first time around: "Z" for Mr. Drummond's hulking, intimidating female bodyguard Mrs. Z (Sheron Chambers) in the sixth season episode "Mrs. Z."

"A" for "Almost American," undoubtedly the worst episode of Diff'rent Strokes ever, bar none. (For those of you who have been hiding under a rock or in a Cold War-era bomb shelter, season three's "Almost American" was a backdoor pilot for a proposed spin-off that, thankfully, never materialized.)

"B" for Betty Bridges, Todd Bridges' real-life supportive and sympathetic mother. Coincidentally, she guest-starred as Vernon's (Anthony Thompkins) mom, Mrs. Brooks, in one of my all-time favorite episodes of Diff'rent Strokes, the penultimate episode of season one, "Willis' Birthday." She also had a brief voiceover role--on an audio recording preserved on a cassette tape--as Willis and Arnold's deceased mother, Lucy Mae Jackson, in the fifth season episode "Memories."
