Described as a “spiritual sequel” to the original 1992 classic, the new movie returns to the neighborhood where the legend began: the now-gentrified section of Chicago where the Cabrini-Green housing projects once stood.

Candyman Delayed Again

Universal Pictures is no longer releasing Nia DaCosta‘s Candyman sequel on October 16, 2020, as expected at this point.

The film will now release sometime in 2021, with no new date selected at this time.
