In 1990 Bounty Paper Towels introduced a series of commercials often referred to as the "I'm Sorry" commercials. And when I refer to these commercials as I'm Sorry commercials I am not making a mistake but Bounty used Brenda Lee's classic song I'm Sorry for these commercials. The commercials are really cute with kids singing a cute cover of the Brenda Lee hit while they show how Bounty really cleans up spills. These commercials were a really cute idea to market Bounty Paper Towels that I wonder if they asked Brenda Lee for permission to use her song I'm Sorry and she was given a huge money check for her effort.
