Looking at her IMDb page (https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0672188/), it stops at Small Wonder (http://mentalfloss.com/article/64652/how-small-wonder-programmed-itself-hit), which ended production 30 years ago. Now according to Marla herself (https://www.yahoo.com/entertainment/small-wonder-30th-anniversary-vicki-1980s-tv-128290305450.html), she left acting (https://hellogiggles.com/reviews-coverage/what-happened-to-them-the-cast-of-small-wonder/) to start a family.

“I just didn’t have that drive anymore. I just wanted to stay with my baby.” Today, she’s an avid cook, with a series of hand-written cookbooks that her friends and family love, and she’s looking to get back into acting: “I have a commercial agent, and I’m going out on some things. We’ll see.”

My personal instincts say that maybe Marla also saw the writing on the wall so to speak. What I mean is that Small Wonder to be brutally honest, was a very critically trashed show (even when it was originally on). Maybe she figured that it was going to be very hard to land really prestigious prime time network jobs after her highest profile role was starring on a campy, low-budget, syndicated kids show.

Her Small Wonder character, Joan Lawson, might say to this, “That makes sense.”

I watched the show as a kid and enjoyed it, lately I've been able to catch the whole series on YouTube and I still remember what a hot MILF Marla was.
