View Full Version : Serious question - did Robert Stack macbeth06 06-26-2019, 07:05 AM Every say what his favorite episodes were or cases is there a list of it online 5thcorps 06-26-2019, 11:10 AM I can't say I ever heard of him commenting much on the individual cases. Perhaps a former production member reads this and could chime in. macbeth06 06-26-2019, 02:40 PM I can't say I ever heard of him commenting much on the individual cases. Perhaps a former production member reads this and could chime in. I am hoping some one sees it and does chime in drew790 06-26-2019, 05:16 PM I'd wager the Eliot Ness stuff. Todd Mueller 06-26-2019, 06:01 PM Robert Stack did a Reddit AMA many years ago and he said his two favorite cases were the Magic Rock and the fertility statues. He said, "Other shows like America's Most Wanted get to find criminals and missing people, too, but only I get to do the supernatural." macbeth06 06-26-2019, 06:12 PM Robert Stack did a Reddit AMA many years ago and he said his two favorite cases were the Magic Rock and the fertility statues. Intresting do you have a link I really liked the eliot ness and magic rock epsiodes 1990 UM fan 06-26-2019, 08:25 PM I can tell you which one he despised the most ;) macbeth06 06-26-2019, 10:15 PM I can tell you which one he despised the most ;) Tell me please UMfan77 06-27-2019, 08:34 AM I've read that he was a friend of Micky Thompson and that his (and his wife's) murders really saddened him. dynoguy88 06-27-2019, 10:09 AM If I had to guess, I'd say the Elliot Ness segment might be his favorite for sentimental reasons. He even has a slight smile on his face when he mentioned his days of portraying Elliot Ness, himself. But after narrating more than 1,000 segments and countless updates, they probably all ran together in one big blur in his head. If he were alive today, it would probably be hard for him to make a favorites list. This was on the commentary track on the DVD set they put out years ago. TripleG 07-02-2019, 08:07 AM I could tell that Robert didn't like the Mann family haunted house story, which resulted in one of the funniest segments ever done on the show. Everything Robert said just felt like it was drenched in sarcasm. The bit where the ghost "possessed" the young wife and had her attack her husband was hilarious. Robert said something to the effect of "The Manns knew they had a ghost. What they didn't know was that she had an ambush planned!". It was hysterical! macbeth06 07-02-2019, 08:12 AM I could tell that Robert didn't like the Mann family haunted house story, which resulted in one of the funniest segments ever done on the show. When he didn’t like the stories. That would have been hilarious to see that. I wonder what he thought of Rainboy? Maybe he would start swearing like he did in Airplane.
