Nancy McKeon got the "and (name) as (character)" at the end of the cast credits in one of the final seasons. That's something special. How was that managed? Must've been the films she was in.

I think they did that becasue she was the newcomer and I guess they just left her at the end. She was asking for more money, but also more respect -- she wanted to play more adult roles that she had. I belive that her "credit" in the opening was part of her deal as well. And, by the way, everyone benefited from it -- all the girls received substantial salary increases because of her. Yup, she didn't show up for the first 3 episodes I think. I believe they mentioned it in a few magazine articles or something.....or maybe the FOL True Story?
