Harry, to Blanche: By all means, call your brother and have him come down for an extended visit. I love him like he was my own brother!

Ronnie, to Gracie: I really need your help with my college homework.

George, to Gracie: I have to tell you, Gracie--I watch you hatch your schemes on my TV in the den.

Ronnie: I’m giving up girls and I’m going to become a monk!

Blanche's brother, Roger: I want to be totally honest with you, George.

Harry to Gracie: You are SO clearand un-confused Gracie. It’s a piece of cake to follow and predict your logic!

Harry Von Zell: George, I was in on the latest caper with Gracie. So I willingly resign.

George to audience: I am not going to FIRE Harry In this next scene; I’m gonna give him a big fat raise!

George to audience: I'm giving up cigar smoking. Now, a few more corny jokes, and on with the show!

George: I don't know what kind of tobacco was in that last cigar but ,after smoking it, Gracie makes perfect sense!

Gracie: To the audience: We’re gonna do role reversal in this episode. I’ll smoke the cigars and George will do the daffy logic.

George (in his den): I'm turning off my TV. I don't wanna hear what Gracie's gonna do next.
