CCR was big in 1969, they had several hit songs on the charts that year. My favorite CCR hit is Lookin Out My Back Door, but that song came along a year later in 1970.

Those 2 would be on my list, but Get Together was originally released in 1967 although it was re-released in 1969. Time of the Season was released in 1968.

Time Of The Season is an interesting tune, recorded in 1967 but didn't achieve chart success until 1969.

The Zombies was the band Rod Argent had prior to Argent. Colin Blunstone was a member of The Zombies, then in later years he was part of The Alan Parsons Project. More recently, Argent and Blunstone teamed up again as The Zombies.

I also liked Sugar, Sugar and Quentin's theme ( It was an instrumental that started on the show Dark Shadows, but became a 45 record) ! My Sister bought it and we used to play it a lot it was summertime , a good memory of

the summer of 69 ! :) it was a cool, eerie , pretty tune!;)

Quentin was so handsome!!! :):eyes:
