It’s no surprise that a young Sheldon would go through great lengths to prove he was right, or that an adult Sheldon would think fondly of the memory. However, the February 21 episode of Young Sheldon, “A Loaf of Bread and a Grand Old Flag," (https://forums.previously.tv/topic/91316-s02e16-a-loaf-of-bread-and-a-grand-old-flag/?do=getNewComment) took it to the next level with Sheldon supporting communism.

To me, George Jr. should've told Sheldon "Thank you!" for what he said on the news. Sheldon's speech is what made Jr. get a surprise visit from his love interest when she saw him getting the cold shoulder from everyone else at their school.

Ugh that was the most tedious episode I have ever seen. Very thin plot and painful to sit through, especially the Grandmother crooning patriotic songs on her lawn. It's the only episode I didn't even watch all the way through, it was a swing and a miss.
