I've been reading elsewhere (http://www.bonethefish.com/viewtopics.php?5181) that after six seasons (https://moviechat.org/tt2712740/The-Goldbergs/5c4afab05553c516c7e7c514/Is-it-me), it's getting less likely that many of the episodes were actually based on real stories in Adam Goldberg's life. A tale-tell sign is when you see episodes that don't put in the real footage Adam recorded at the end of the shows.
