For me, this is an easy one: My Three Sons.

Honestly, how about any show? To me, what's hard to find are the shows that are UNEDITED, MUSIC RIGHTS ARE INTACT and NO CREDIT CRUNCH.

That was a long list. Hundreds of shows I never heard of.

In this time of HDTV and due to the fact that many shows have been remastered, it's ridiculous that you can't get ANY show you want (particularly, popular shows that ran for many seasons), complete and as originally aired. Music rights shouldn't be an issue. Pay what they want for the music, and give the customer the option of paying the higher price. If I want a hard copy of it (DVD), allow me to make one.

one i never seen it only like documtranys but it was on tv back in the 1950s it ran long time amos & andy!! it was an radio show then they made liked tv show back in the 1950s!! i heard that they don't play it on tv any more cause they consider it racist!! i think it was on reruns back in the 1980s to 1990s but i didn;t have cable some time after 1990!!

Though I got them when they originally released, I'd say a very good candidate for this thread would be the 4 seasons of Punky Brewster. At least here in the Chicago area, I haven't seen any of the individual 4 season DVD releases for Punky at any store in quite some time! It's probably been at least 5, 6 years since I've seen any of them in a store at all! Wouldn't shock me if no big box retailer within 250 miles has it. I think you can still get it on Amazon but just strictly speaking big box retail that'd be near the top of the most difficult to find list.

The Pruitts of Southampton (ABC) 1966-67 starring Phyllis Diller is impossible to find virtually anywhere, let alone on DVD. Out of the 30 episodes, filmed only a couple of episodes can be found off the internet. I would love for this to be officially released or at least shown in syndication somewhere.

That's a good one! Here's another: Make Room For Granddaddy, Danny Thomas's one-season ABC show around 1970, with most of the cast from The Danny Thomas Show. Very little of that on Youtube.

I'm dying to get some copies of the PBS Anthology "Trying Times," especially the episode "Drive, She Said," starring Teri Garr, Lyman Ward, and Catherine Bach as herself.

The Joey Bishop Show complete series is out on DVD, but it's MOD and on DVD-R unless you mean his talk show from the 1960s.

Julia is no where to be found on DVD besides Season 1

Ozzie And Harriet is very hard to find and there aren't even Complete seasons on DVD.

A fair amount of Ozzie & Harriet is available from sites like Oldies.com. The quality suffers because no one putting out public domain material has access to the original films. All legit public domain releases cut Ricky's musical performances. Mill Creek put out a large P.D. DVD set.

Shout has put out a couple of DVD sets. I think one of the sets licensed the music. They even had a few of the color episodes, which are really hard to find. I think everything is syndication length.

For me, this is an easy one: My Three Sons.

For me it would be having all my favourite shows IN ANALOGUE like I enjoyed them then....

There's a U.S. adaptation of the U.K. game show Never Mind the Buzzcocks hosted by Marc Maron that seems to be lost media. From what I can gather, the U.S. adaptation didn't last that long nor did Marc Maron seem to be fan of hosting it.

Edit: Apparently, it only lasted 6 episodes before VH1 replaced it with older episodes of the U.K. version.

Homefront - a WWII era drama that ran for two season on ABC in 1991-1993 starring Kyle Chandler and John Slattery
What About Joan? - a comedy starring Kyle Chandler and Joan Cusack which ran for two short seasons on ABC in 2001.
Davis Rules- comedy starring Randy Quaid, Bonnie Hunt, and Jonathan Winters ran for two seasons in '91 & '92.
I haven't seen Joan or Davis since their original run, so I might not even like them now; but I'd love to find out! I've waited forever for a complete release of another Kyle Chandler show, Early Edition, and it finally happened this year! I haven't ordered it yet because I'm hoping for a price drop! Been a fan of Kyle since his days as Jeff Metcalf. Friday Night Lights got all the attention, but I still think Homefront is the best role he's ever had.
