I saw the original just the other day as a matter of fact.

Sometimes I live vicariously through my wife:) She's in NY again for her work, and she got to go to another Thursday Night Terrors for a screening of Return Of The Living Dead.
She went in costume, not as a character from that movie, but as Sam Neil's character from the 1994 horror film In The Mouth Of Madness (One of her favorite horror films.) But it is fitting since his character goes to the movies towards the end of the film.
Before she left here we printed out a cover to make a Sutter Cane book (In the movie he's an author, along the lines of Stephen King) Whoever reads one of Cane's books goes mad. Sam Neil's character, not wanting to become one of the crazy has himself locked away in an asylum and draws crosses all over including himself for protection.
I drew all the crosses on her outfit.

Well, thank you :) We are. At times she seemed to make being a parent easy. I think a lot of it also had to do with having family living so close to us as she was growing up so she had lots of good influences, and the wife and I always had family around to give a helping hand when we needed it.

Oh wow!! That sucks ,:( I can relate !! I sprained my ankle really bad a few years ago, it was a stage 3 sprain almost a break!! It hurt so bad, and not being able to get around!! Poor thing, wishing her a speedy recovery!!;)

There was an interview with him about fasting at Ramadan , which coincided with the games!! But he had to fast and be hungry while playing cause of his Muslim religion! He's from Turkey!!:)

Sucks the Blazers got beat by those darn Golden State bullies!! :(I hate them even though they are in my state!! Hoping the Eastern team kicks their butts ( preferably the Millwaukee Bucks) in the finals!! ;)

No, she was there for work. Would still love to go to a con though. The closest I've been to a comic con was back in the early 90's some friends and I went to this huge comic book swap meet thing. I don't remember where it was, other than it was in Portland. Lots and lots of stands with people selling comics, just no one dressed up or anything.
