Hahaha, that's awesome. The audience tends to get way more into it when it's a classic movie being shown. But I have to admit it did get a BIT obnoxious last December during a showing of Die Hard!

For the last 7 or 8 days the Torgos have been dealing with power outage and wildfires. Labor Day night the power for a huge area, including where we live was shut off manually due to the wild fires we've been experiencing here in Oregon. If it wasn't for that we would still have been able to stay in the house as the level here hasn't moved up from level 1. Level 2 means you're on alert and should be ready to go, level 3 means leave. Level 1 means to be on the alert.

So, my daughter and I went to stay with my parents. Mrs Torgo went to stay with a friend since my parents have been experiencing internet problems and my wife needs constant internet for her work.

Power came back on Sunday, I was there checking on the house, when I was driving to the house there were power crews every where. So we're all 3 back home.

Last week, my daughter and her boyfriend took money they were saving together for a trip, plus raised more to buy gift cards for the displaced families staying in RVs at the parking lots of various stores. With the help of my wife and I, other family, and my daughter's boyfriend's family we passed the gift cards out to people.

We're both fortunate.:) And yes, seeing all the people in the parking lots, I just hoped all had homes to go back to.

When it comes to some things I'm so glad my daughter is nothing like me when I was the age she is now. 16 probably to my early 20s I was "too cool for school" and never wanted to hang out with my parents, I always had better things to do (I really didn't), but thankfully my daughter isn't like that, and as long as she wants to do fun things with her old man, I'm going to enjoy it as much as I can.
