Last night's Johnny Carson from 1974 mentioned the Patsy Awards for TV animals. My cousins had a cat named Midnight for a long time, and I found out last night there was a TV cat with the same name who had won awards on Mannix and Barnaby Jones. How long did the Patsys last? I am guessing they are not still around today, that would be one award show that is actually worth watching. I would think there would still be a market for it on channels like Animal Planet and Hallmark with all their cat themed events.
