Mickey Gilley's "Stand By Me" is better than the original. Tavares version of "More Than A Woman" is very good,almost as good as the Bee Gees one.

Also Rita Coolidge's "We're All Alone" is much better than the original sung by I think Boz Scaggs.On that song Ritas voice is so beautiful and smooth as silk. Such a relaxing beautiful song by Rita Coolidge.

I also feel the same way about "How Do I Live". The original by Trisha Yearwood is much better than LeAnn Rimes' version. Trisha gave it feeling but LeAnn just sings it for the pop masses.
