Mad satirized the show two times.

1)Hot Lips became Fat Lips and later Luke Warm Lips

2) Trapper John became Crapper John

3) Hawkeye became Cockeye

4)Alan Alda was actually called "Alan Alpo" (get it the dog food)


Can't remember the rest for now. Although this is way less important then the vital fact that old Soviet documents proved 100% conclusively that North Korea started the Korean War (see my postings on that) I thought we would have some fun.
Anyone else, who can remember any other Mad satire names for the characters, you are welcome to put them in.

(It was when making a joke segment about spin-offs yet to come that Mad called called him Alan Alpo, not in the long actual satires of Mash.)
