Actress Nicole Eggert is accusing actor-director Scott Baio of having "molested" her repeatedly when she was 14 until she was 17.

In a series of tweets Saturday morning, the former Charles in Charge and Baywatch star told another Twitter user commenting on Baio's support for President Donald Trump, "Ask @scottbaio what happened in his garage at his house when I was a minor. Creep."

In subsequent replies to Twitter users commenting on her tweet, Eggert described herself as a "molested child" and said that she was 14, 15, 16 and 17 when the alleged incidents occurred. To another user, she described the alleged assaults: "What is ur explanation for him fingering me at age 14?"

The pair starred together on Charles in Charge, which ran from 1984 to 1990, on which Baio played the title character and Nicole played Jamie, one of the children college student Charles became a caretaker for when he moved into a house off-campus.

In response, Baio's wife, Renee Baio, tweeted that his legal team had served Eggert with two cease-and-desist letters.

Baio added, on Twitter, "I'm about to do a Facebook live to prove her claims are 100% lies! #NicoleEggert."

In his video, Baio, whose wife can be heard from off-camera, addressed Eggerts' claims, saying, "The reason I’m doing Facebook Live is because no one can edit me…. This is the truth."

He went on to say that in 2012 and 2013, when Eggert first made claims against him, the actress was promoting reality shows she appeared in. Baio said he opted not to respond to the claims at that time. He then produced two letters, dated from last year, to Eggert and Charles in Charge costar Alexander Polinsky, who Baio claims "decided to team up against" him, telling them both to go to the police if they had legitimate claims.

Baio ended his video by saying, "I don't know what else to put out there. She's my best friend in the world, then all of a sudden I'm the bogeyman. The problem with almost all he said/she said cases is they're he said/she said. Now, go prove it or disprove it...the real problem with this is people with legitimate claims aren't taken seriously, and that's too bad."

Baio has made headlines recently for vocally supporting President Trump: He appeared at the Republican National Convention to tout the then candidate and made appearances on television and on Facebook Live, where he told liberal celebrities including Lena Dunham to move to Canada in one video.

Scott Baio has multiple documents and audio evidence to defend his innocence against her false allegations.

where is this so-called evidence Scott has? so far his "evidence" was to proclaim his innocence on a live broadcast and argued that he couldn't be lying because it was LIVE.

Nicole explained her appearance on his show - whether you agree with the logic behind it is moot and not evidence. Scott has already admitted to having a physical relationship with Nicole - but he now claims it all happened after CIC ended and they were no longer working together. If it happened earlier - when she was a young teenager - then even if the relationship was "consensual" it still would have been innappropriate (and statuatory rape).

Take this if you will, but there is this podcast by AJ Benza (http://discover.knit.audio/fame-is-a-bitch/) (the former host of E!'s Mysteries and Scandals), who reports on Hollywood gossip/issues etc.

He posted a podcast (http://podbay.fm/show/1254131606/e/1527222044?autostart=1) which states that Nicole Eggert had a boyfriend who used to come onto the set of Charles in Charge when she was younger. Who she ended up living with at around 16/17 and ran away to Vegas with to marry in 1990/1991 when she was 18/19 (I don't know the guy's name; he's not famous but he states his name and the marriage certificate). This means that within two years she went from this guy who she married in Vegas in 1991 to Scott Baio and then to Corey Haim in 1993.

If anything, this pretty much kicks any credibility she has about sleeping with and losing her virginity to Scott at 17 as she was living with and sleeping with her then boyfriend at this time. Nicole had already cast doubt on herself when she was faced with her statements from that other podcast where she said she lost her virginity to Baio. She explained it away by saying she was lying then because she was putting on an act to make for good radio, but as soon as she was off the air she told the hosts the truth and how Baio abused her.

She also stated at one point years ago that she and Corey Haim were together when they were underage but Corey Feldman pulled her on Twitter about that and stated that she "seems to have the timelines a bit blurred" as it was around Blown Away in 1993 when she and Corey Haim hooked up.

Eggert falsely claimed that the D. A. had a hard time declining the case because she allegedly believed her story.

However, lawmakers are now refuting her untrue claims insisting the statute of limitations was the only factor in their decision not to prosecute.

Here is the way I see this this matter. It is disturbing that something like this had to be brought up to the court systems be it the truth or false allegations. All I can say is if this does go any further I do hope if true justice is served from it.

Now what i find extremely said is why the hell does everything have to become political?
