As for the first question, the Practical Joke episode is on of the funniest of the series (and, one that TV Land often skipped, for unknown reasons). Wally and Eddie never anticipated the car would detach from the rear axle, of course--jokes can often go awry.

That scene when Eddie and Wally come to her door and are let in with no thought reminds me of the futuristic film A Clockwork Orange when Alex and his droogs tell a woman there’s been an accident and his friend is bleeding in the road. The woman tells him he’ll have to go to the town and call she can’t let them in. She does however and regrets it.
