It varies for me from year to year depending on how I feel but I usually put up all my Christmas decorations and tree on Thanksgiving day or the day before Thanksgiving.

Day after Halloween....Nah, usually the first weekend of December.

I try to put it up the Sunday before Thanksgiving although it probably never happens. Always later. Last year, we had to buy a new tree as the one we had was old and by the time we ordered one and it got here, it was December 15 before we put it up.

Usually Black Friday, day after thanksgiving. I think though there are certain decorations for Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas you can combine, I consider Halloween to be the kick-off of the holiday season.

I'm going to try the Christmas Decorators this year - they bring them, put
them up and take them down - inside AND out, if you want. Sounds good to
me. It will be a nice change. We'll see . . .
