You can find a whole lot more examples it you list spinoffs that aired after the original series ended (two of the Brady Bunch spinoffs aired on NBC and CBS, but the original series aired on ABC).

Rock n Roll Jeopardy on VH1 was the spinoff to Syndicated Jeopardy(in which is currently hosted by Alex Trebek)

Devious Maids was NOT a spin-off of "Desperate Housewives". It was simply created by the same person, Marc Cherry. And yes, Sanchez appears in an uncredited role as Carmen on "DH", but it is not officially a spin-off of "DH".

Neither of these shows is a spinoffs! Both are series reboots.

NBC has ordered a pilot for a Suits spin-off, which aired on cable network USA and suddenly became a lot more popular last year in Netflix reruns. That doesn't mean the spin-off will make it to series though.
