I watched it on the SWN the other night and was absolutely BLOWN AWAY by his performance motivated by the actor's frustration with his character being taken for granted and used as her crutch.

The original script had DK begging for her forgiveness. He wouldn't play it that way and thus this was one of the few episodes where the frequently smug and emasculating Ann had her ass handed to her. :lol:

No, it's basically like your in a teacher's class, but you are your own independent class and doing homework/studying for other classes.

I remember my senior year very well. Became friends with this older lady teacher who has been at my high school since the late 80s (and am still with her to this very day, but haven't seen her since June) and got to leave school early for half the day because of this work program I did.

Sven's airing MEDUSA AGAINST THE SON OF HERCULES on 9/9 at 8pm-10pm. This should be interesting -- seeing how it looks,and if Sven got the other 13(!) movies to show. I wouldn't be surprised. DUEL and THE BRIDES OF DRACULA are also scheduled for late this year.

It's been good so far, thanks. I only have 13 students, and they ask questions and make comments!:) Nothing is worse than just me having to talk the whole time!

Although lately there's been a lot of New in the Box VHS units from overseas that play U.S. Format Tapes and various overseas television standards.

But I digress...There will always be some way to play VHS tapes and record DVDs.

I have had this one for nearly ten years now. Still works great! It was refurbished and purchased from Big Lots for about 89 bucks, I think.

I got another refurbished Magnavox model from Micro Center that is a real dud though. I have a warranty but have been procrastinating about taking it back. It won't "read" blank discs for some reason. :confused:

I remember the original Svengoolie, Jerry G. Bishop. The current guy, Rich Koz, is funny but Bishop had some hilarious routines too and he spoke with a vampire accent. :lol: Unfortunately, back in the early 1970's when Jerry G. Bishop was Svengoolie, home VCR's weren't on the market yet.

The most recent things I've recorded from TV for my collection are the episodes of Peter Loves Mary and The Girl With Something Extra, I recorded those from GetTV. And I also recorded seasons 1, 3, and 4 of The Joey Bishop Show from Antenna TV. :)

I've been recording Sven since I think "Rodan" in April. I've seen some of Jerry G. Bishop on YouTube -- he's good too! I also like the song he and Rich did together years later, although I'm not sure if it was during the Son of Svengoolie era or the Svengoolie WCIU era. It's cool to know someone who remembers the very first Sven:) At least some clips are on YouTube!

I'm doing well too, although right now my seasonal allergies are kicking my butt...:( But I'm ok. Glad to see you here:)

Personally I'm OK but we are going through a horrible heat wave and we are having brush fires which are really bad!! :eek: Getting really close to homes and burning the hills !!:( My Friend called earlier , she lives in the Valley and can see it from her house! Scary!!! :eek: :( We aren't THAT close but close enough. Labor day weekend and we are all holding off on BBQ's to not add to the smoke!! :confused:
