This makes no sense! It's been 20-21 years since Roseanne ended! She was born in the final season in one of the last episodes! So she'd be 20-21 now! She'd be out of high school!

The Dan on the revival will be a clone. Seriously though, I think they will conveniently ignore the final episode. Actually I hope they conveniently ignore the entire Lottery run of the show.

Probably they will explain it away with one of their typical "inside" jokes.

The lottery season was clunky as hell. I never bought Dan cheating on Rosie even though she was such a harridan. That was just awful and way out of character. :(

Will and Grace has a lot of reboot "splainin'" to do as well. :wave:

Maybe they are making Harris be only 14, and it will be that Darlene and David got married later!;) And Dan didn't actually have a heart attack and die! Because remember Darlene's pregnancy and marriage very young kind of brought on Dan's heart attack, it happened at the wedding!:( First Becky marrying young and than Darlene, maybe being too much for Dan to really handle ! :( ! So this might tie into how Dan didn't have a heart attack and die making Harris be born later, David and Darlene marrying a few years later too! ;)

They already have to retcon the finale where it was revealed that Darlene married Mark and Becky married David. The age of a child that was born in a madeup lottery story doesn't bother me. I just want it to be of better quality than the last two seasons.

But I think the final season will be erased! All the events about Darlene's pregnancy as well! I think she found out in the last season she was! So my guess is they erase events up until Darlene got married to David and Dan didn't have the heart attack!



Harris would have been born around 2003 or so to make her 14 now!




This would also erase a lot of other stuff!

I read that the actors will have input on where they see each of their characters being today! I wonder if DJ has kids and is single and riding motorcycles or getting into trouble--Darlene they want to make gay but DJ was always ALWAYS strange and it would be fun to see what sexuality he is today! He probably won't be into movies and stuff in this revival- I think in season 9 we found out he was and so was his girlfriend!

Not that it makes it right, but I really don't think that most of the viewers will be informed enough to know the difference.
