View Full Version : Damm, I had no idea the schedule for Antenna TV changed in primetime
TVFactFan 07-17-2017, 08:12 PM They have put Three's Company at 5pm and now have a 4 hour block of Norman Lear Shows:mad:
6pm-Good Times
7pm-Jeffersons
8pm-Sanford and Son
9pm-All in the Family
I like the move to take off 227 at 8pm but that's when I thought Three's Company still came on at 9pm
stevea 07-17-2017, 08:37 PM There's a post about it someplace here, but they get bumped down pretty quick!
They also have the Partridge Family back on at 4 pm. There were no other changes on weekdays.
Where did Three's Company go?
TVFactFan 07-17-2017, 09:53 PM Archie Bunkers Place would have been better than All in the Family
stevea 07-17-2017, 09:53 PM 4 pm Partridge Family
5 pm Three's Company
6pm-Good Times
7pm-Jeffersons
8pm-Sanford and Son
9pm-All in the Family

It sure would be a nice change.

Guess those 4 shows will be in syndication until I am 89 years old
I hate Good Times and Sanford and Son

I like them, esp. Sanford and son is hilarious ,:D but they are WAY overplayed on Antenna! I think we all would appreciate them more if they were given a rest sometime! ;)

Both have been on cable or digital TV every year since 2003.
I remember in 2002 when I started watching Good Times again I was excited because it was my first time seeing it since 1989:lol:

Same with me!! And with me it was longer than you ! I was happy back when it first came on TV Land cause I hadn't seen it since it was FIRST RUN in the 70's! ;) !

Yup I think I went the whole decade of the 90's without seeing it and then in 2002 I remember TBS airing good times a few months after I joined this site:)
It was like it was new all over again.
That sh*t stale and rusty now. But like my mom said the people who are watching it now are those who were not born yet in 2002/2003

Yeah your Mom's right! These shows could be first run for younger people! ;) Also I watch them sometimes still along with other old shows that play a lot like All in the Family even if I'm tired of them because they are like "comfort shows" ! We are really familiar with them and we know EVERY SCENE and EVERYTHING that is going to happen word for word! :) :D

The fact that Sanford and Son and GT have only 5 to 6 seasons, it gets hard to watch over and over.
Well atleast Welcome Back Kotter is coming in the fall but I don't know the timeslot yet
I was watching that in 2002 also on TV LAND
UncleJesse81 07-17-2017, 11:51 PM I'm steamed that they took off Mr Belvedere on the weekdays AGAIN. But that's what channels like this do lol.

Yeah! Mr. Belvedere was only on a short time on Antenna , not played to death!!! ;) I LOVE Mr. Belvedere! That was a treat seeing that being brought back by Antenna, I really liked it first run! :) ;) However like you said Antenna didn't treat it so well. Bad time slots or hardly not on at all! :(

I went from being excited to disappointed in a matter of 10 seconds
I was like....."oh **** they got rid of 227, YES!!! and then when I saw no more TC I was like........'ALL IN THE FAMILY???
UncleJesse81 07-18-2017, 01:44 AM It wouldn't be as much of a issue for me if the last 2 seasons of Mr Belvedere were released on DVD. But yeah...
sabrelucynut 07-18-2017, 02:34 AM I just wish they hadn't taken off The Addams Family. instead of repeating the same episodes of some shows like Burns & Allen, Bewitched and jeannie that have already aired that week why not give us a little of other shows?

Yes, this was back when TBS had some good stuff. I think I watched Good Times at 5 am, before going to work.
mets82 07-18-2017, 05:47 PM You wouldn't even mind it if the shows were on just one channel. TC, Good Times, All in the Family, are on multiple channels.
To me, Mr. Belvedere lost its luster after a while.

Love this show! I watched it when it first ran but hadn't seen it since then and in 2015 when Antenna ran it around Midnight I started watching. Then it moved and I kept forgetting it was daytime. Then they moved it to 3am and I found myself staying up to watch it. Now apparently it's only one Sunday afternoons.
Is Mr. Belvedere still on TV somewhere?
UncleJesse81 07-18-2017, 07:58 PM  Is Mr. Belvedere still on TV somewhere?
Yeah Sunday at 4-5 pm wahoo lol.
Svenfan1234 07-25-2017, 01:01 PM My only gripes is that I wish My Two Dads was back at 11pm on Sundays. Seen All in the Family and Three's Company so many times thanks to Antenna it's ridiculous. Can't wait for new shows.
