Am I the only one that does not understand what a meme is? It's been
explained to me but I still don't get it. Does anyone have a good example?

You're not alone! I'm sure a lot of people have no idea what they mean. I didn't even know until a few years ago.

Basically, I would describe them as widely-spread photos and graphics illustrating relatable and/or humorous experiences or messages, usually with references to popular culture to make them even more specific and confusing to most other people.

I can't find a perfect example but chances are you've seen them before, even if you don't know what they're called.

Meme - A humorous image, video, piece of text, etc., that is copied (often with slight variations) and spread rapidly by Internet users.

Actress Laura Dern embraces her memes, even though she doesn't understand them.

Here's a Munsters/Donald Trump political meme. And also a paranormal meme. They're usually pretty humorous.

Thanks everyone for your input. I guess I'll watch a few and see if there's a
common theme, maybe that will them more understandable.
