Scrabjan1 06-03-2017, 08:02 PM Let's come up with a LITB quote and a poster can say who said it and name the ep. then post another quote. (Doesn't have to be verbatim)
"If you're gonna be a lover you gotta suffer."
I tend to think that's Eddie, but I can't think of the ep or the particular situation. I'll guess "Wally's Sweater."
New quote:
"I'm afraid it's going to cost more than you think."
Scrabjan1 06-11-2017, 12:51 PM My quote was from Box Office Attraction when Wally had to see the bad movie again.
I'll say that was Ward in Beaver's Accordion as to the damage when it bounced downstairs. Not sure if that's right.
"The only time your father would bawl is when you move back home."
MichaelMartinD 06-13-2017, 12:13 PM "The only time your father would bawl is when you move back home."
I think that's from "Bachelor at Large." Beaver says it to Eddie who has moved out of his parents' house.
Scrabjan1 06-13-2017, 01:44 PM Correct. How about:
"She goes away to boarding school. My father says that's a good indication her family has money. It doesn't pay to waste time with people who don't count."
TVJoy 06-13-2017, 02:22 PM Correct. How about:
"She goes away to boarding school. My father says that's a good indication her family has money. No use wasting your time with people who don't count."
That's definately Eddie Haskell! Maybe from Eddie's Girl?
MichaelMartinD 06-13-2017, 02:22 PM "Eddie's Girl," spoken by Eddie about his alleged girlfriend (I can't remember her name...)
TVJoy 06-13-2017, 03:47 PM "Eddie's Girl," spoken by Eddie about his alleged girlfriend (I can't remember her name...)
Caroline Cunningham. I looked it up.
Here's one:
"Well they might find some uh... some poor guy who's gonna take a trip to Hawaii or something."
Scrabjan1 06-13-2017, 04:51 PM Is that Wally from Clothing Drive talking about the Hawaiian shirt?
TVJoy 06-13-2017, 05:18 PM Yes it is! I gotta admit, I had just finished watching it. Funny line.
stevea 06-13-2017, 06:04 PM Wally, I kinda get scared in high places.
Scrabjan1 06-13-2017, 09:53 PM Beaver said that about the Big Dipper, "rollycoaster in Beaver's Fear?
stevea 06-13-2017, 09:59 PM But, Mom, she doesn't have any clothes on it. (yes, on above.)
TVJoy 06-13-2017, 11:22 PM Beaver says it in "Teacher Comes To Dinner" when June tells him to take Miss Lander's arm.
stevea 06-14-2017, 07:21 AM Golly, Dad, you know all 'bout 'tricity.
I know enough to keep one step ahead of your mother.
TVJoy 06-14-2017, 09:23 AM Beaver talking to Ward in "New Neighbors". Darn that June for pulling the plug out by the cord!
I remember the quotes, but I have to look up the show titles.
stevea 06-14-2017, 09:57 AM (I never bother looking up titles, if I don't remember the title, I just describe the episode).
He's the Lucius Beebe of Mayfield. (And by the way does anyone know who that is?)
TVJoy 06-14-2017, 11:05 AM I don't know who said it or the episode but...Lucius Morris Beebe was an American author, gourmand, photographer, railroad historian, journalist, and syndicated columnist. (I looked it up! Its so easy to do on an iPad. Just touch & tap look up.)
Ward Cleaver: How'd the fishing go Beav?
Theodore "Beaver" Cleaver: Great Dad. We didn't catch any fish, but Larry and I saw a man slip on a wet rock and heard everything he said.
Scrabjan1 06-20-2018, 06:37 PM Ward Cleaver: How'd the fishing go Beav?

Isn’t that The Spot Removers and wasn't that Richard not Larry? Not sure
“Hey look Wally a lamp growing out of a deer’s foot.” “Hey look a switch with wires coming out.” “Can I oar the boat when we get out in the water?”

No. It’s Ward and Beaver.
Scrabjan1 06-21-2018, 08:23 AM What I meant was wasn’t Beaver out fishing with Richard I know that that dialogue was between Ward and Beaver.
Theodore "Beaver" Cleaver: Do you really like me, Wally?
Wally Cleaver: I guess so.
Theodore "Beaver" Cleaver: Do you like me a whole lot?
Wally Cleaver: Look, don't get sloppy on me. I might just slug you one
