Elena Verdugo, who was nurse Consuelo Lopez on the classic 1969-76 ABC medical series Marcus Welby, M.D. (alongside the late Robert Young as the title character, and James Brolin as his partner Dr. Steven Kiley), has passed on at 92.

R.I.P. :( Marcus Welby has aired on COZI in the past, but isn't airing it now. Hopefully they'll bring it back as a tribute! She was great as Nurse Consuelo!

Too bad Meet Millie is a virtually lost show. Would love to have seen it. I used to like her on Marcus Welby. R.I.P. Elena. :(

Aww!! Sorry to hear! :( She was a sweet lady. I loved her as Consuelo on Marcus Welby!! Also saw her on Tattletales with her Hubby. He was a psychiatrist! Even her being an actress and you know he made good money , they came across as really nice down to earth people! :)
I loved when Cozi showed Marcus Welby! Wish they would bring it back! Maybe METV could get it? That would be cool! ;)
RIP Elena!

Nurse Consuelo Lopez was my favorite character on Marcus Welby. I wish Meet Millie was available to view somewhere. :rip: Elena Verdugo

I'm glad Elena lived a long life. She was a great addition to the Welby cast.

:(
I mainly know her from House Of Frankenstein, and the Abbott & Costello movie Little Giant.

Yeah that show Tattletales is interesting to look back on. If I recall Tattletales was on in the mornings when first aired. I see it now and find it interesting to see the actor and their spouse. A few days ago, saw a young Cathy Rigby and her first husband Tom.
