In my box of music I found a cd by a singer named Basia and I would like to know if anyone has heard of her? She is a singer from Poland who got her start in a band named Matt Blanco before becoming a huge success in America with the 1987 album Time And Tide and released her first single New Day For You. When I first discovered Basia I was shocked at how well she sang and her music is wonderful to listen to
Be sure to check out Basia and you'll be surprised at her music. You'll love it

I remember her hit "Baby You're Mine" and her cover of Aretha Franklin's "Until You Come Back To Me (That's What I'm Gonna Do)." An underrated singer.

Basia's cover of Until You Come Back To Me {That's What I'm Gonna Do** was the song that made me a fan of Basia but my actual first time I heard of her was her 1994 album The Sweetest Illusion and I thought her sound was unique and her voice was very beautiful. Then I started my Basia album collection with her 1989 album London Warsaw New York and later I got Basia's album Time And Tide and I got my own copy of The Sweetest Illusion from my aunt and Basia is very talented and very skilled at what she does. Basia has made a comeback with an album that she released on Koch Records named Not That Kind Of Girl and she is still awesome as ever

I picked up the Time and Tide cassingle (https://www.discogs.com/Basia-Time-And-Tide/release/9921512) at random from a thrift store appox. 2 years ago.

I thought it was alright, but I haven't heard much beyond that. Not exactly my wheelhouse. The music video was amusingly campy, at any rate: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xN1mfwY7gsQ

The Very Best Song that Basia did back in the day was "Promises". It was a great song that she did.
