When the Lump is planning on having a party the Cleavers are amazed that Fred would let him have a party. Well in an episode in season 4 Wally says that Mr. Rutherford comes down in his bathrobe and turns off the gas fire to let everyone know the party's over. Then in Wally Goes Steady June mentions how Wally took Evelyn to the Rutherford party. I guess Lumpy was a swinger.

I know and Lumpy had such respect for Daddy Fred. How he says he can't get his pants dirty as he borrowed them from Daddy.
