I just found out today MTV is currently airing Friends 6PM-8PM weekdays and weekends. I don't know why there hasn't been announcement on news for acquisitions. Do most of the Viacom networks acquire whenever shows they want without notice?

The site mentions MTV that air Friends on New Years, the article is posted on Dec 2016 and yet I'm surprised and curious nobody mentioning this!

Checking on the tvguide and now updated zap2it, it's currently not airing on MTV. I wonder if Nick@Nite will expire Friends by next month Sept 2017 as that said in contract announced in 2005. Or will they renew the deal?
