Did you notice the lady in the store in front of Mary was Aunt Esther?;) And Grady was on yesterday playing Mary's father!:) :) :wave:

yeah I never knew esther guest starred on 227. I knew about grady and george Jefferson. This show is growing on me

^Seasons 1-4 are really good but season 5 is pretty awful but still somewhat enjoyable compared to today's TV.

I see the main characters from the Jeffersons made a guest appearance on 227 except weezy


Ralph the door man, Tom Willis, George, and Helen all appeared on 227


Also from Sanford and Son Rollo made a guest appearance

227 is a good show and I'm enjoying the reruns. I saw "Grady" and "Aunt Esther" this week too..... and Billy Dee Williams! :woohoo: And I forgot that Pearl is such a hoot!

Good catch! I was thinking it was a spoof on these big dollar lottos that had multiple winners. If I am not mistaken, that has happened a few times in real life where the jackpot was split among the winners. I have to do some research
