I recently purchased DVD set of Van Dyke And Company, 1970's variety show hosted by Dick Van Dyke. Not the greatest variety show, I can see why it didn't last long, but the episodes are still interesting to watch.

I also purchased It's About Time complete series. Not a great sitcom by any means, very silly, even sillier than Gilligan's Island, but the episodes have their funny moments. I like the episode when the series shifts formats, and the astronauts return to the 20th century and bring the cave family with them. Joe E. Ross steals the show in this episode, he has several funny scenes. :lol:

We finally bit the bullet and purchased the complete series of Barney Miller. We waited for an Amazon deal, but ultimately decided the price was worth it to us since it is one of our absolute favorites. And the "Fish" episodes are included.....don't expect that show will ever hit the retro stations. ;) Abe Vigoda is a riot though, so worth it for that.

It was more than worth it to me, at least for the main event of BM. The Fish single season that's in there though, I haven't touched in any way, shape or form-- I'm not sure I'll like it, but I'm sure you will.

I just ordered the complete boxset of Picket Fences.
It's the german version, which is the only one available in region 2. It's gonna be released on 8th december, and I can't wait for it.
Hope it will include english subtitles, and the package will be nice.

Oh, and that the show will be good: it's been so far my most expensive blind-buy. But it was the only way to get this show.

I went back to my regular thrift store when the owner called to tell me he got some new DVDs in.

I picked up Seasons 1-2 of "The Adventures of Pete & Pete" used for $5.00 each (normally sold for $10.00). This was a great find as these DVDs, even used, go for much more than that online.
