is it true that sara gilbert (Darleane) in real life is melissa Gilbert (From little house on the parrie) sister I heard that they were adopted along with a brother that played willy on little house is theis true or not???

Well I know that Sara and Melissa are sister in real life I don't know about the brother. And I don't know if they are adopted but Sara and Melissa are definatly sisters.

Melissa Gilbert was adopted. Saw it in a bio of her. Her parents divorced -- Sara is actually a product of Melissa's mother and step-father. But since the Gilbert name was noted in showbusiness, Sara took the Gilbert name by choice.

I've often wondered if that bothered Sara's father. When you have a kid, you want him/her to have your last name, not your wife's late ex-husband's name.
