Can't remember which episode this was and it's irrelevant anyway, but I was watching UM last night and noticed this. Stack was saying some names of wanted Mexican fugitives, and I was surprised by how well-pronounced they were. He even almost rolled his Rs, and sounded like someone who was fluent or semi-fluent in Spanish. Trivial, I know, but I had never noticed this before.

He did film The Bullfighter and the Lady in Mexico and was one of his favorite shoots.

Howard Finkel was also pretty good at that.

He should never have pronounced Paso Robles wrong unless it really has a Spanish name with an English pronunciation, which maybe some towns do.
From Wikipedia...
Robert Stack was born Charles Langford Modini Stack in Los Angeles, California, but his first name (selected by his mother) was changed to Robert by his father. He spent his early childhood growing up in Europe. He became fluent in French and Italian at an early age, and did not learn English until returning to Los Angeles.[

Wow! His English was so wonderful I'd never have guessed it was not his first or primary language!
