I made this one fan fic called THE DIVSIION JINNY STYLE but I decided to stop that one cause i had some trouble with it and start a new one instead. Hopefully you guys will enjoy and respond with good comments :) ENJOY:

STUGGLING WITH SOBRIETY- BY CELINE AKA MELI

It was another windy evenning in San Francisco, Jinny Extead all alone in her father's house, watching old reruns of "I Love Lucy" on TV Land. She was very inert and today was her father's 58th Birthday Day. The boys were out partying with their old man while Jinny lay stuck in the front room, glued to the tv with her hair sort of all over the place. She gently closed her eyes then she heard a loud BANG! from the window. She looks up at the window and it was the wind that was causing all the whistling and banging. She looks over to the old wooden table that had the old dim lamp and saw her card laying there. It was nothing special, just a simple hallmark card that said HAPPY 58TH BIRTHDAY DAD-HOPE YOUR DAY IS WONDERFUL. There was a picture of a birthday cake on the front. She saw the flower that she gave him, the blue one that was in this old dusty white vase on the old wooden table. She looked at the old brown pendulum clock on the wall... 10:13pm. It was a late saturday night and Jinny was alone in the dark big house, craving the one thing she couldn't have.... alcohol.

Jinny called her sponsor, dusty on the phone. She heard another loud banging noise coming from that same big window by the door.

JINNY: Hey It's me, Jinny... Jinny Extead. I hope I'm not disturbing you or anything I just need somebody to talk to right now.

DUSTY: It's ok Jinny... Jinny Extead. I will always be here for you whenever, wherever.

Jinny shows a small smile and then her face straightens up again.

JINNY: You see, here's the thing... today is my dad's birthday and all and I'm usually out there at some bar, partying right beside him you know? That can't happen this year and my brother's took him and I had to be left here in the dark watching old reruns I've seen a million times of "I Love Lucy".

DUSTY: Jinny, it's only normal you feel that way. You have to change your daily and annual habits to be able to work and stay with the program. Are you craving right now?

JINNY: Yeah, and it's really just driving me crazy. It's like I have to keep my mind occupied or something. I was thinking of calling Mag up but I figured all she would talk about were the same ole same ole and I would fall asleep at the phone.

DUSTY: That's not too bad. Do you have any hobbies Jinny, besides being an inspector?

JINNY: Drinking was my only hobby for years then when I stopped, I loss my only hobby.

DUSTY: That's not true Jinny, there must be something you do for fun.

JINNY: Well, now that I think about it, I do go jogging from time to time, and I practice martial arts from time to time as well.

DUSTY: Good well, there you go. Sometime to keep you busy Jinny. You can always count AA meetings as a hobby as well.

JINNY: Yeah true Dusty...

Another bang on the window, this time, the bang sounded like a person hitting the window hard.

JINNY: Listen Dusty can you hold on a minute?

DUSTY: Yeah

Jinny puts the phone down quietly, then she moves over to that big window by the door. she glances outside and something humanlike catches her eye. A man who looked about the same age as her only a few more years older stood there across the street staring at her. Jinny started to look closely at him, but it was so dark she could barely make out what he looked like. She didn't recognize him so she left the window and picked up the phone.

JINNY: Dusty you still there?

DUSTY: Yep I am, what's going on, you were off for a while.

JINNY: Yeah uh, I heard something so I checked it out.

DUSTY: You should get some rest Jinny, you'll feel better in the morning.

JINNY: Yeah I think that's what I'm going to do, goodnight Dusty.

DUSTY: Goodnight Jinny, remember anytime you need me, you know my number.

JINNY: Thanks, see you later

Jinny starts to hang up the phone when something hits the window and her hand jerked and the phone landed on the floor. She picked it up quickly and hung it up. She went over to the window again and she didn't see the man, but she saw a flashlight laying on the grass outside. She decided that she really needed some good rest so she went up to her bedroom and jumped under the covers of her lumpy ole bed... and she closed her eyes. The night became cold and she started to shiver. There was a presence in the room, staring at her, stalking her, touching her without her even knowing. The darkness slowly decreased as the banging on the windows eventually stopped and the dark night sky gave way to a new dawn.

PLEASE TELL ME WHAT YOU THINK OF IT AND I'LL CONTINUE TO WRITE MORE :)

Jinny wakes up, and walks over to the kitchen to find her father John making some eggs for breakfast. She sees the tired expression on his face as he smiles and breathlessly says a quick good morning.

JOHN: You hungry? I made some breakfast for us.

JINNY: No, I'm not hungry this morning, I'll get something on the way to the division.

JOHN: I'm sorry I stayed out late Jinny. I know that you really wanted to spend some time with me and...

JINNY: No, no... that's not it. I just didn't get enough sleep last night. It has nothing to do with you.

JOHN: Jinny I know that I haven't been a good influence on your problems but you can always come to me whenever you need to talk and...

JINNY: Listen to me, you shouldn't have to change your whole life around because of me. I shouldn't even be living here...

JOHN: But you are and I want to help.

JINNY: Look, dad... honestly, you could help by giving me a little space.

Jinny goes in the front room to grab her jacket and notepad. John walks in holding an envelope and hands it to her.

JINNY: What is this?

JOHN: I don't know who this is from but I found it laying by the door earlier this morning.

The envelope said, TO: JINNY FROM:_________. Jinny stared at it for a couple of seconds then opened it. A look of terror spread across her face as she almost dropped the letter. The letter contained this message:

DEAR JINNY, I FOUND IT HARD HOPEFULLY TONIGHT, I'LL SUCCEED.

YOUR'S TRUELY: XXX XXX XXX

Jinny couldn't believe what she just read. The letter was typed up and it didn't say who it was from. She sat down on the chair looking straight at the window.

JOHN: Jinny, what did the letter say? Who wrote it?

JINNY: Change the locks and lock the windows up. It was a threat letter.

JOHN: What do you mean a threat letter? A death threat?

JINNY: I dont know ok.... have you seen anybody lurking around the neighborhood lately?

JOHN: No, why.

JINNY: I could of sworn last night I saw somebody staring at our house, but I couldnt make out the face or anything.

JOHN: Oh, well maybe it was just your imagination.

JINNY: No, I didn't imagine this. I have a feeling whoever sent me this letter, saw me in here last night watching tv. probably from the window.

JOHN: You need to calm down, it was probably just a dream or nightmare.

JINNY: I'm not going to sit here and argue with you about something I know is 100 percent clear, now if you excuse me I need to get going. I can't believe you would even think for a second that I was making this crap up.

Jinny walks out the door without saying goodbye to her father, she turns her head and looks at the grass. She slowly stopped for a split second.... the flashlight was missing.

Ok here's more:

Jinny's car skids through the streets as it runs over big puddles of water and the people on the sidewalk try to avoid getting splashed by Jinny's road rage anger that stays inside of her as she gets out of the car, walks through the metal detector and up the elevator to the division. There, she spots a pile of paperwork on her desk and she picks it up and dumps it on Raina's desk.

RAINA: Jinny, what do you think you're doing?

JINNY: Giving you more work to do since I see you're busy chatting away on the phone.

RAINA: I was doing my job here Jinny. Looks like somebody got up on the wrong side of the bed this morning.

JINNY: Yeah and I'm in no mood for paperwork either so since you sit on your ass most of the day anyway, I'd thought you would like something to do besides kiss up to the captain.

Magda overhears the conversation and walks up to both Jinny and Raina who are both causing a scene.

MAGDA: Hey hey... not in here all right? Jinny come on in the bathroom with me.

Jinny and Magda go in the bathroom where they always have their so called personal conversations and vent out their inner demons with bathroom privacy... or so they thought.

JINNY: Somebody is stalking me again Mag. I dont know who but somebody is this close to hurting me.

Jinny shows Magda the letter that the person sent her.

MAGDA: Look, Jin... this sounds serious here, but don't take it out on everyone here. I'll try my best to be here for you but you got to calm down about this. It could be a nasty prank for all you know.

JINNY: Mag, I know a prank when I see one. This isn't one of them. It's killing me not knowing who this guy is. I saw him last night out my window. I should of suspected something right then and there but I was too tired to even think it. I don't know what to do except see if I can find this guy... change the locks... do something. Anything to numb this fear I have inside of me.

MAGDA: If you're scared Jin, why don't you take your mind off it for a bit after work and go to an AA meeting.

JINNY: He could be following me for all I know, I really dont know what to do, I'm so scared right now.

MAGDA: Don't worry Jin, we'll find who this is, just like we did with the other.

JINNY: I just dont get why people are so obsessed over me. Is it my past? My attitude? What?

MAGDA: Jin, hang in there... you'll figure this one out.

JINNY: God Mag, I sure hope so, the last thing i need is to get shot or worse.

MAGDA: Don't even think that Jin. I'll tell ya what... why don't you stay at my place tonight and we'll order in chinese and watch scary movies all night long. Gabe will be with Ben that night so we'll have a girls night sort of thing.

JINNY: Sure Mag. A little distraction might do me some good.

Magda walks back out and Jinny stays in the bathroom looking at the letter. Then she notices something that stands out. A green mark on the back of the letter. She looks at it closely and realizes that it looks like a grass stain. Then she remembers a little facial expression on the man that was staring at her. A tall woman taps her on the shoulder.

CD: Can I borrow your evidence you collected yesterday. I need to compare them to something real fast.

Jinny jumps up shocked, and turns around to see CD looking down at her with a calm attitude like always.

JINNY: Yeah, sure.

CD: Thanks. are you ok?

JINNY: Yeah, I've had better days though.

CD: I know the feeling. Just call if you need anything.

JINNY: Thanks.

CD walks out the bathroom and Jinny stands there trying to remember more details but she cant picture them yet. She walks out the bathroom. A micro chip is watching every move she makes. Jinny doesnt take off her leather jacket.

TELL ME WHAT YOU THINK OF IT SO FAR

I know that I haven’t updated my division fan fic in 3 months but I’m finally ready. Here’s its continuation

Jinny walks into the main room at the division and she spots Magda typing a report on the computer. Jinny walks up to her and looks at her with a frozen look on her face. Magda looks at Jinny as she prints out the report.

MAGDA: You can’t have this thing ruin your life Jinny.

JINNY: Mag, I need to go back home real fast and get something.

MAGDA: You have obligations here. You can’t leave right now

JINNY: Watch me.

Jinny starts to walk towards the door and Magda walks faster up to her and stops.

MAGDA: Jinny, you are my partner. I need you right now, if you don’t come back here-

JINNY: You’ll what? Tell the captain? I told you that I’m going to get my portfolio I left at my house.

MAGDA: You never told me about your portfolio

JINNY: You never gave me a chance Mag.

Jinny walks out the door and she goes down the hallway. Magda walks back to her desk and picks up a picture of Ben and Gabe. She looks at it and puts it back down on her desk. Jinny is approaching the metal detector. She walks quickly through it and something goes through her ear that isn’t right. She steps back and tries again, but this time she hears the noise once more. The police officer in black tells her to take off her black leather jacket. She goes through it again in her white T-shirt and black pants. She hears nothing and continues to the shuttle. She comes on the shuttle and sees nobody there but herself and an old driver that looks around her father’s age. She sits down in the back and looks out the window. As it roams down the street, she sees kids playing hopscotch and birds flying down to pick up left over bread crumbs from an old lady sitting on a bench. She arrives at her father’s house (NOTE: My fan fic is not based on the show’s storylines right now) and with quick few steps wearing her black leather boots she gets out of the shuttle and realizes how long the grass has grown. She walks past it staring at the different patches of greens. A quiet noise comes out of nowhere and comes from a bush by the door. Jinny turns her head and looks at the bush beside her. It shows no indication of movement. Jinny walks into the house and spots her portfolio on the table. She grabs it and opens it slowly. She finds pictures of different suspects from her case and then a picture falls on the floor by her foot. She picks it up and turns it around and she suddenly turns white.

I know that it’s not that long at all. I had more written for this particular part of my fan fic but unfortunately it got permanently erased so I had to redo it. I’ll write more tomorrow but right now it’s more of an introduction to what’s in store next time I update it. Hopefully you guys aren’t too upset its short LOL

Her father comes from the bedroom and looks at her like she was having a nervous breakdown. He stared at what she was looking at by her foot.

JOHN: Oh, Jinnygirl… I … I had no idea.

JINNY: Who in the hell did this?

She was referring to the picture of her by that had pin needles all over her face and body with red markings.

JINNY: I told you that there’s somebody trying to get me.

JOHN: What are you going to do about this?

JINNY: I’ll tell you what I’m going to do

JOHN: Jinny… no don’t solve it that way.

JINNY: Tell me, how am I supose to solve it when there’s somebody trying to kill me?

JOHN: God Jinny for once, can you please listen to what I have to say?

JINNY: If that son of a bitch comes after me I swear I’ll kill him.

JOHN: Fine you know what, if you want to be stubborn, short tempered like you always are then that’s fine with me. I’m tired of your selfishness and I’m not gonna start feeling sorry for you if you are gonna act this way in front of me

JINNY: You know what dad? Did I ever ask you to feel sorry for me?

JOHN: Yeah during intervention

Jinny grabs that white dusty vase with the flowers that she gave her father the night before and she throws it against the wall shattering it piece by piece and she walks up to her father and coldly looks at him like she was ready to throw something at him.

JINNY: You don’t even bring that up right now okay? I’m through with you, I’m gone.

Jinny walks out the door with her portfolio leaving her father almost in tears.

JOHN: Jinny… please come back. I didn’t mean what I said. Don’t you know that I love you?

CD and Nate are at the division sitting right across from each other reading the same newspaper. They look at each other and then they stare at the newspaper again. Nate takes a sip of coffee and puts it down on his desk.

NATE: I can’t believe 4 people have already been killed mysteriously by some guy who stalked them one day and murdered them the next.

CD: I don’t understand why these people just didn’t go to the police and get protection.

NATE: Maybe they didn’t think it was that serious so they left it alone. Or maybe they were going to but the guy got them just before they ever had the chance.

CD: What’s so scary is that nobody has any clue to what this guy even looks like. Nobody has claimed to have seen him.

NATE: Maybe there are, and they just don’t want to be the next target.

Nate takes another sip of coffee and the captain comes walking up to them with some papers in her hand.

KATE: Got a new case for you guys.

She gives them the report. Cd right away scans through it like a computer.

CD: Wait a minute… this woman was accused of killing three of the neighbors children?

KATE: Yeah, the children were last seen by a woman matching her description according to eye witnesses. Raina got a warrant for me right away on the lady. All you need to do is go over to her house and take her in and question her.

NATE: This is just as bad as the newspaper article we read CD. What’s this world coming to?

CD: Yeah what’s this world coming to Nate. By the way, I’m driving this time.

NATE: You drove last night CD, it’s my turn today. We agreed on this.

CD: Nate, you weren’t even in the car with me. Besides I drive so much more better than you.

NATE: Just keep saying that to yourself.

Both of them start laughing as they walk out the door. Kate goes back towards Magda and tells her to come into her office real fast. Magda puts her photos back on the desk and walks inside the captains office.

KATE: Where’s Jinny?

MAGDA: Oh Jinny, she had to get something real fast from her house but she should be back any second now.

KATE: Well she’s been gone for almost an hour now. Any idea what’s going on with her this time?

MAGDA: She is a little paranoid captain over the fact that someone might be stalking her.

KATE: Why hasn’t she told me about this?

MAGDA: I don’t know I guess she didn’t think it was such a big deal. But I’m telling you now that it’s something that can’t be ignored.

KATE: I’ll talk to her about it as soon as she comes back.

MAGDA: I’m really worried about her, she seems pretty sure that someone is out there trying to kill her captain. I want to help her catch this guy who she says is stalking her.

KATE: We’ll do what we can but I don’t want to see her wandering away from work anymore.

MAGDA: Right captain.

KATE: Anything new you found yet?

MAGDA: No Jinny still has the rest of our photos but I will try my best to get as much work done as possible while she is gone.

KATE: Ok thanks Magda, and don’t worry about Jinny. I’ll see what’s going on with her.

MAGDA: Thanks captain.

Meanwhile at the house where Mrs. and Mr. O Riley live, Mrs. O Riley is in her room putting on some light red lip stick when Mr. O Riley walks up to her to confront her about some things.

MR. O RILEY: You know, you haven’t said a word all day. Is anything wrong?

MRS. O RILEY: No, I’m busy today is all. I need to walk across the street to get some money from the bank and I’ll be back shortly. Be sure to make some sandwiches for the kids while I’m gone.

MR. O RILEY: I’ll be sure to Dorothy.

Mrs. O Riley goes downstairs and sees her two girls run up to her hugging her. She kisses them both on the forehead and tells them to color their drawings on the table. She slowly walks outside her door and moves by a tree where the street is at. She looks both ways and hears some strange sound coming from her car. She doesn’t see anything so she moves across the street quickly and starts walking towards the bank when she hears another sound coming from behind some bushes. She looks at them with her green eyes, and sees something that looks usual and turns away and starts to walk faster and faster. She sees nobody around the side of the bank and she finally makes it to the ATM machine. CD and Nate drive up to the O Riley’s home 15 minutes later. Nate and CD walk up to the door and Nate knocks on the door.

NATE: SFPD, we have a warrant out for a Mrs. O Riley for first-degree murder. Anyone home?

CD: Come on we know there’s somebody in here, there’s a car out in the parking lot.

A tall man opens the door and lets them in.

NATE: And you are?

MATTHEW: Matthew McDaniels, I’m Dorothy’s brother. I’m taking care of the children while she is away at the store.

CD: When is she going to be back?

MATTHEW: She should be back in a few minutes. What is she being charged with?

NATE: You seem awfully calm today Mr. McDaniels… any reason?

MATTHEW: Well I take pain medication for my back in the afternoons so that’s probably why I appear pretty calm right now.

CD: Where are the children… I don’t hear anybody in this house?

NATE: Mind if we take a look around?

MATTHEW: No go ahead, the children are at their friends house right now.

Nate and CD start walking around the spotless house, looking through pictures and rooms. CD goes into the wife’s room, and finds her jewelry box open on the dresser. Suddenly she starts to hear music playing from the closet… she walks up to it and opens it. She doesn’t see anything in there that is playing music until she looks up and sees a bunch of boxes up on top. Then suddenly the music stops and she closes the closet door. She hears a weird sound from downstairs and starts to walk down, each step making a creak.

CD: Nate

Nate walks downstairs .

NATE: What?

CD: Where’s Mr. McDaniels?

NATE: I don’t know, did you check all the rooms?

CD: No I haven’t, I have a weird feeling about something.

Suddenly as they go back upstairs again, the music starts playing again…

Tell me what you guys think so far, I had to stop in the middle because something startled me from outside my window. I don’t know why, but this is even starting to freak me out LOL. I don’t know if any of you feel the same way
