Well that was dumb. Adding Good Times and Sanford and Son which have been on all over everywhere for the last 10-15 years and taking off 227 and Amen which are no where else to be found these days.

I can see Sanford & Son and Good Times on FamilyNet, but I'm excited about The Jeffersons coming to Encore Black because I only have the first 3 seasons on DVD and the rest of the episodes I haven't seen in many years. It would be nice if Encore Classic would play something different.

I'd take "227" and "Amen" any day over "Sanford and Son" and "Good Times". Shame on them for changing the schedule like this. I'd rather see "Hangin' with Mr. Cooper" or "Benson" added.

well we stil got encore classics its tbd proably stand for to be discussed listed night court moving to laff network n January so we got wait n see.

I recently downgraded my DIRECTV package so I no longer get the encore channels but if they added different shows like "Hangin' with Mr. Cooper", "Benson", "The Drew Carey Show", "Perfect Strangers", or "Family Matters" I may consider upgrading again.

And NC ended up on Laff. At the end of the year makes it sound like the contracts ran out.
