I was asking about Jackie, not Joan. Of course I know perfectly well that she was a writer but the thread title makes it seem that her only claim-to-fame was being Joan's sister.

Jackie Collins was more famous for being a writer, I think over being the sister. She was a successful author long before Dynasty (which made Joan the big star she became). I know Joan was famous before then though. I read it wrong and thought you meant about Joan being a writer, which she was.

I heard of her passing today. I remember when their dad was alive, he said one daughter write trash, the other stars in them. I think Joan was in?? Stud.
