Well it is FREEZING in Alaska!!! If my Dad had come home when I was a kid and said he got a job in Alaska, I think I'd be pretty freaked out! :eek:

If it was Hawaii, Florida or California , I'd be all ready packing my bags, but FREEZING cold Alaska, I'd be like Dad, you lost your mind!!! ;) :confused:

But it was SO FAR away!!!! And I would picture ice and cold and living in an igloo if I was young!:confused: I think it would really seem weird to kids to go to Alaska back than, now they could research on the internet more and see it's more civilized, but still , it's cold, WAY colder than Chicago and FAR from where they were from! :confused: And even if they lived in the ghetto or projects , and it would be a better life, do kids really see it that way?:( It would mean leaving their friends and neighbors that they knew and grew up with ( Wilona) ! :(
