Okay so I buy Lisa's book today right? Well, in Barnes and Noble we have this huge fight over if it comes in paperback or not. I said no he said look for it. I said no he said he was gonna ask the lady. So he asks the lady and, of course, I'm right. So then he's going on and on about paying $14.99 for a book I'm gonna read in a day, blah blah blah. Anyway...I started telling him all about Lisa and I read him the first two sentences of the book. He says she's a goody-goody and she just wrote the book to make herself look good. He says she's probably 50 years old and she was hot back then, but she's a dog now...how rude...So I was telling him about May 12 when I'm gonna see her and he asked who was going with me and I said maybe my friend Megan, but she only wants to go so she can meet someone famous. But I'll end up going alone....and he told me to bring my lightswitch plate cover...he says she'll get a kick out of it....I told her I should make her something and then I went into the whole domino story....

Seeing as how this post had to do with LW I had no choice to respond. ur dad is one kewl duude. He should have his own talkshow. We could sit around and dis weirdos all day and get paid for it.

hmm...that's weird..my copy was $16.99 or $15.99. hmm....

but your dad....could be...nicer. but hey at least u guys are talking! which is more than i can say for my dad and me. but all that stuff...no. and 14.99 IS cheap for a hardback, doesn't matter if ur gonna read it in one day or not....it's by lisa! :D

While Lisa was in Texas, I was able to see her twice in 1 week. The second time I saw her was at a bookstore and I gave her a gift. A handmade set of dominoes (Lisa like to play 42)

She had her daughter take our picture and she put it on her website. She even mentioned me in her journal entry. I have the links in my sig. I even hae pictures posted on my website from both times I met her. I also got her to sign an 8X10 photo I had made from when I met her the first time. It's pretty cool :)
