Actually the laws don't look that wacky. Many look to be friendly cheerful things you shouldn't do. I can see no gum chewing for people do throw their gum and some poor soul steps in it. Its nice to visit family. Car honking does do damage to your ears. But in this day and age, how do you get someone's attention. Smelly fruit in subways. Who wants that. Oh how do you operate a cow. Milk it??

I knew about the law against running out of gas on the Autobahn, as I travelled on it during a bus trip to Paris fifteen years ago. And I have also heard about the law against chewing gum in Singapore, and the one against dying in the houses of Parlament in the UK. But they forgot about the law that it's legal to kill a Scotsman within the city of York if he carries a longbow, and that a pregnant woman in the UK is supposedly allowed to pee in a policeman's helmet! :crazy:

Michigan has a law where it's illegal to chain an alligator to a fire hydrant. :crazy: The only reason I can figure for making a law that weird is there must have been someone who was doing this. :eek:
