View Full Version : Anyone remember the feel-good elderly couple help checks mail
neognosis 03-22-2015, 10:28 PM there was a feel-good episode where an elderly couple helps a stranger, and then they got checks in the mail.
i think they were suggesting the stranger was an angel.
Cori aka ChrisSCrush 03-23-2015, 01:27 AM It was some older couple in Florida who either helped a successful man posing as a tramp, or a classy man fallen on hard times whose fortunes later improved. Either way he remembered their kindness and rewarded them richly.

I thought we only explored paranormal options once we have exhausted the logical.

Michael Landon was a once in a lifetime actor. He must have been a fun person to be around, he was always pulling practical jokes. I can't think of any other person that starred in 3 successful t.v. series, back-to-back like he did. That's a testament to his skills.

so UM's spin negates the need for logic?

what is logic anyway? if some one says they saw a ufo or bigfoot or angel what does logic got to do with it?
Cori aka ChrisSCrush 03-24-2015, 09:45 PM It's been years since I saw Highway to Heaven or Touched by an Angel but it seems to me that most of the plots were human interest stories which had to do with non-financial solutions to the problems even of individuals obsessed by money. I don't remember anyone being sent checks to help out! There were a couple of shows like that but I think they involved wealthy benefactors, not angels.

were they based on real life stories or pure fiction?
James T 03-25-2015, 04:04 AM I liked Victor French in that.

The wealthy benefactor shows were definitely fiction.

Because logic dictates that such things do not exist, so it would suggest the person making such claims is incorrect.

ive heard that before. :p
maybe logic is wrong:crazy:   or too narrow minded.
what makes logic an authority anyway?
if u watch Unsolved Mysteries UFO episodes, and else where, on other shows, honest people testify they were eye witnesses to UFO. who is logic to say they didnt see what they said they saw?
