i'm down with that.

this weekend is crazy for me though - a couple of weeks ago my sister-in-law casually asked me if I could bring a dish to their parents anniversary party.

...and then I find out on Friday that it is actually their 50th anniversary and that little side dish I offered to bring has to be two full trays to feed 150 people. So I am making a loaded baked potato casserole - 24 pounds of potatoes peeled, cooked, and mashed over yesterday and today. :crazy:

I did go to the mall yesterday to do some Christmas shopping, which was indeed rather stressful and crazy but fun as always. :lol:

My family decided that we're not doing Christmas presents this year. I can't really say that I mind.

I too went to the mall yesterday and enjoyed the Christmas lights everywhere. Such a cozy time of year.

They always have this awesome Christmas set up at the mall here. So cozy.

Also one of the stores had this large bear sitting in the window, which amused me greatly.

My house is decorated, I'm writing my Christmas cards, bought Candy Canes and egg nog so far. Next gotta do the shopping. we are all just staying minimal with the gift giving this year though!

just put up the tree - its tiny with tiny plastic balls, shiny garland ball-strings and little LED lights.

TOTALLY cat proof.

You know everything is a chore this year. My mom hasnt been feeling well plus she still needs the hip surgery. Also, my mom's car needs to have about 1,000 bucks of work done to it as her brakes are becoming shot. Plus, money is tight. Other than that, everything is wonderful.

I'm always was in the Christmas spirit but over the years, sadly, its waned a lot. My grandparents have passed away but I could still have a good holiday and get through it but like what I mentioned above, its hard to get into the Christmas spirit year after year.

Amen. Honestly, this Holiday season has been really stressful for me too with family illness and all of the madness that surrounds that. There's been a couple of times I've just wanted to give up on trying to keep the Holiday spirit and look forward to Christmas being over, but what you said there is exactly right and that's why I'm still all in.

Although I think a Christmas thread is a great idea, it could only be seasonal and that may require too much work on TJs part to put it up during the holidays then take it down after Xmas. Putting up a Xmas thread would take more work then putting up and tearing down a Xmas tree.

Christmas 2014 is now winding down. For mr this was the first time since 1992 I spent Christmas alone, but I made the best of it. Next week I have a new Year's EVE party lined up, so I'm looking forward to that. Since I had a Rib Roast for Christmas I'll be eating Turkey on January 6 (The Feast of the Kings) which is one last hurrah before I dismantle my Decorations and put them away for the year.

No. Rossford does not have a court house. The nearest court room's in Perrysburg, Ohio.
