I have been on this site over 10 years! I wouldn't post anything to the wrong person to hurt anyone's credibility! Anyone who wants to see the PMs setting up our trade or any Moderator who wants to look at them please feel free. They are all in my PM inbox. There is no confusion. Don't know why you are bothering me or the people on this board with false information or why you are reading all of my posts. I am sorry you feel the need to lie but I for one am offended by your accusations of me.

I am not lying about anything and you know it. All I wanted you to do was send my discs or let me know when you would send them. I am a SLOW trader and I have no problem waiting. I sent yours right out in July which was rare for me because I usually take forever (not proud of that). When you ignored me I posted here. There is no lie. Below is what you sent me earlier, then you post that I lie. Who is lying? I said nothing rude to you, I didn't accuse you of anything, I just asked for the discs. Nothing wrong with that. By saying our trade is done you are saying I am not getting my discs.

I am leaving because once you get a bad rap you can't get rid of it. The PM thing was a mistake like I mentioned but you went and posted it for the world to see so I had to reply. I was working on your DVDs all day but I needed that post deleted so my name would not be tarnished. Consider this trade done!

I'll have to side with april4972 here. I had a trade with BettyWhiteFan and it went pretty lousy. Found him to be rude, picky, impatient, demanding, hypocritical and obnoxious. Not only wanted a specific type of disc, but a specific brand of disc - bought new spindle of discs just to appease his request. In turn, he sends mine on crap media and took FOREVER to do so. Told me various dates he would send my discs, all of which came and went = no discs. He then lied and said he sent them on such and such date, which didn't happen. Eventually got the discs. This is after he was impatient with ME because I didn't send fast enough to his liking. He also has numerous account here, which actually isn't allowed.

Out of the discs I sent him, there was one problem with one part of one episode on one disc, which remarkably he found RIGHT AWAY. I offered to try and fix the issue and got a snotty response in return.

So I guess I would say to BettyWhiteFan: how exactly is april ruining your reputation when it wasn't good to begin with? It's not like you've been on here for many years and have tons of positive feedback. I find your multiple accounts, eliminating contact info and feigning ignorance on a trade to be very suspicious.

You are wrong! My only request was that you use DVD-R because nothing else works on my machine. I didn't care less about the brand you used. You were the one who asked me what brand I used.

I never gave you a snotty response. I asked simply asked if the disc that had an episode freeze on it was a problem with my disc or a problem with your disc as well. I never wanted a replacement or anything in return. I simply wanted an answer.

I never gave you crappy DVDs either. I gave you the next best available at the store because they did not have the discs you requested.

One of the problems I had with you requesting DVD-R specifically was that you requested it after the fact. Much like you requested me to throw in a whole other set after the fact (which I did because I'm a generous person). If you want to request certain things while the trade negotiations are going on, that's your prerogative, but asking for things after the trade is already agreed to is unbeliebably tacky and nervy.

Hewlett Packard's are crap discs. You stated you used Sony and Phillips, so I expected one of those two. You put them on HP without even asking me first.

I also have all of the PM"s from that trade saved.

News flash! You asked for 2 sets so why should I not request another one. You asked for 2 show so I did the same thing. What's the problem? You can ask for 2 sets but I can't? You say you are being generous after you already asked for 2 things is hilarious.

I do apologies for requesting the discs after the process started but come on that is very little compared to how you are accusing me of being hard to work with. You asked me what brand I used? So don't make it sound like I asked that question to you.

Ask you? Seriously! Like I said before the store did not have the ones you requested so I got the best they had (according to a sales person) so you would not have to wait any longer. Why should I have asked you? You had already been waiting long enough so I made a decision to buy what the store had. You would have been more upset if I ordered the discs online because you would have to wait about 1 to 2 weeks before they arrived to me.

As any trader will tell you, it's not the amount of sets, but the number of discs. I had a very hard time getting disc counts from you on anything. I provided you with disc counts on the stuff you were asking about.

How do you know I would have been more upset? Can you read inside my brain? I would have preferred to wait instead of getting them on HP discs.

Your arguments don't really hold any water. There were several WEEKS that passed between when you received my discs and when I finally got mine. Does Atlanta only have one store?

In any event, you're avoiding the issue: why don't you send april her discs? Why have you eliminated your contact info? Why do you have duplicate accounts on here? Why won't you answer any of that?

I believe in being open about everything - if you were having problems with some disks or contacting people through PMs, then TELL THE PERSON.

lying about things will only make a situation worse and do nothing but ruin your reputation, and if anyone thinks they are fooling anyone by using multiple accounts or usernames, you are not. And believe me, most of the traders here have contact with or are active on the other trading sites, so a bad reputation on one site WILL follow you.

This situation could have easily been avoided had someone just apologized, said that they were working on the disks and having problems with emails/PMs.

If you want to go to iOffer or Sell.com or whatever, you are welcome to - good luck avoiding any potential scammers or hard-to-deal-with people on there, don't those sites have buyer and seller ratings as well?

If you didn't want anything to be public or any "hassles" why wouldn't you just answer your PM's or try to make an effort to make a compromise with people and try to make things right? I think that you will find that people will give you a lot more benefit of the doubt if you are at least making an effort to cooperate.

Send April the disks. Do what you want from there, but if you want to get and maintain a good reputation, you have to earn it.

If someone was bothering you on your previous account, why didn't you just contact mods/admins? Or better yet, just put the person on ignore? Creating a whole new account is foolish, not to mention against forum rules.

I live in Michigan. We had an ice storm last winter as well. Not to mention several severe snowstorms and winter weather advisories (which included below zero temps). That doesn't mean we were trapped in one space for weeks. They were a huge inconvenience, yes, but it didn't last several weeks.

Actually, I did contact a moderator about your issues during the course of our trade (near the end). That was after you LIED to me about a lot of things.

I posted this thread on Sept 20th because after seeing your posts in this Forum offering sets of shows and recording new shows I tried to PM you one more time and your PMs were blocked! You were on the site but ignoring me. How was I supposed to contact you? I posted asking for my discs. I didn't ruin your reputation by asking for my discs. You should have just replied to my Sept 4th PM and let me know status. That would have solved everything.

Just because people are picking on you (which you rightfully deserve) doesn't change the fact that you have basically stolen from April and that you owe her the DVDs promised to be exchanged. Sometimes people can be slow and mishaps happen- if you were willing to talk to resolve the problem this wouldn't have come to the level that it has come to. Plus, you've been acting like a total moron, trying to pretend your someone else....dude come on, we've all been around the block more than once, clearly you are a scammer and not the brightest one at that.
