And to add insult to injury, it's the Steve Harvey tapings...

You'd think a retro station would at least air the Richard Dawson/Ray Combs tapings...

This is screwed up programming. I like Steve Harvey but I can't stand him as host of FF and it doesn't belong on TV Land at all.

TV Land isn't a retro channel, they announced years ago that was in the past but they'd continue to give us a few offerings of the classic shows.

My thoughts as far as them adding Family Feud, NOTHING they do shocks me which is why I stopped watching them years ago.

True.

My comment was sort of tongue-in-cheek, referencing the fact that they were launched as a retro TV channel yet they have eliminated most of their retro broadcasting, and now they want to add this on top of it.

It's sort of like how "The Learning Channel" offers absolutely no programming in which you're actually learning something...

TV Land started out great with classic shows & retro commercials. It use to be one of my favorite channels, but they ruined it a long time ago just like the SYFY channel did.

The Steve Harvey episodes of Family Feud perform extremely well in both syndication and on GSN. You may not like the program, but it'll likely perform quite well for TV Land as well.

I agree! At one time TLC was pretty good. I can even remember when National Geographic channel was educational. It seems almost all channels have turned to crap.

I absolutely agree! Most networks have gone way south.

Are you kidding me??!! Family Feud??!! Where did you find this information? Well, remember when Dancing with the Stars was on GSN? How long did that last? Adding insult to more injury. You mean they can't show ANY shows, classic or even recent, except for Family Feud??!! PATHETIC!!!

The "perform extremely well" part may be true, but it does not belong on TV Land, and I hope it performs poorly on that channel, no matter how well it preforms on any other channel. There's no excuse for this. Personally, I may like the program, but I'm not gonna watch it on TV Land.

I'd rather put reruns of Desperate Housewives on TV Land than the current Steve Harvey-hosted Family Feud.

Maybe the problem is that anyone here still watches TV Land?

True! I couldn't help but watch Roseanne late night, which is how I found out about TVLand showing Family Feud this month.

We're coming up on the eighth anniversary (September 30) of my decision to quit subscribing to Pay-TV. :angryfire I haven't missed it at all. I was paying $65.00 a month when I "cut the cord" a little over three months later. Today it would cost me $139.00 a month to subscribe to the same service I had in 2006. And from what I've seen the service has only gotten worse.

I have much better things to to do than watch shoddy "unscripted" TV shows and mind-numbing amounts of advertising. How much longer will the madness known as Pay-TV last? Raising prices combined with lower quality eventually leads to ruination. A house divided against itself CANNOT STAND.

Harvey Feud already airs ad nauseum on GSN. I wouldn't mind as much if it were Karn or O'Hurley. Also, TVLand has advertised they will air Friends 7 nights a week at 11PM starting September 29.

Because Steve Harvey hosting FM is generating ratings so TV Land wants a piece of the action

If TV Land were to get permission to broadcast past editions of "The Price is Right", I hope they would only show the editions hosted by Bob Barker, Bill Cullen, Dennis James, and James Narz (professionally known as Tom Kennedy) since I don't believe many folks would be interested in watching and/or listening to the editions hosted by Drew Carey compared to folks who would be interested in watching and/or listening to the editions hosted by his predecessors.

They're going to start showing current episodes of TPIR? That doesn't fit in at all with what they set out to be. It reminds me of what the History Channel has become. :(

Considering GSN hasn't been allowed to get the rights for over a decade TVLand wouldn't get it either. What TVLand is adding is the Steve Harvey version of Family Feud.

If they are going to show any type of game shows,it should be from the 50's-80's,not current recent shows, but what do you expect?!ohno: For them do do something clever?!?

Tom Kennedy wasn't known as Tom Kennedy?? I will say I'd like to see classic TPIR air somewhere. The bottom line is that $$$ talks and you know what walks.
