Also, two series that were planned to launch during this season will not go forward: Hieroglyph (FOX) and Emerald City (NBC).

^Cristela premieres 10/10, only Marry Me, Constantine & State of Affairs premiere later than that on the Big Four so I'd say they are unlikely to be among the first cancellations of the season.

The only show i'll miss gone is "Parenthood" but it's last season was terribly disappointing.

Its renewal for a seventh season last May came as such a surprise after ratings and viewership hit new lows during the previous season (its sixth). It is said that the episode order may be for 13 installments, which will likely wrap up the series and its ongoing storylines.

Throughout most of its run, the ratings have been mediocre (Season 1 averaged a 2.5 in the 18-49 demo; Season 2 averaged a 2.2; Season 3 averaged a 1.6; Season 4 opened last Sunday to a 1.5 demo rating).I think the series now stands as the lowest-rated on the ABC Network.

I love Revenge but it wouldn't surprise me if season 4 was its last. Although, they may try to milk it for another season because it does at least have a popular and well known name.

That show was building fairly well and then it was suddenly like the entire behind the scenes staff was changed out of nowhere. I literally lost the plot in about 2 seconds I tried a few more episodes but whatever was clicking stopped.

I've watched the first two episodes so far and while I enjoy the overall creepiness, the main cast has no chemistry and the characters, especially Perry's ex-wife, are grating and annoying. It says for something when the guest actors are more interesting. I also think people will tire of the stalker-of-the-week theme. I'll give it one more shot and if the next episode isn't that great, I'm switching over to American Horror Story: Freakshow.

I've been trying to give it a chance, but I can't imagine sitting through 22 more episodes. It doesn't have that spark that makes you want to tune in every week.

Another series which may be finished after this season is Hart of Dixie on the CW. Its fourth season will have only 10 episodes, and some of its main cast are already taking new jobs.

I called Bad Judge and A to Z. I had a feeling those wouldn't last too long. I think possibly many or all of the shows listed in this thread may wind up on the chopping block except for Selfie, which has a lot of online fans and a lot of Doctor Who fans in America watching for Karen Gillan.

The cancellations of the NBC sitcoms Bad Judge and A to Z are just an example of "I told you this would happen.". Both low-rated sitcoms were essentially placeholders for The Blacklist's post-Super-Bowl move to the Thursdays at 9pm timeslot.

I've never watched the show. I was going to when it first came on but there were other shows I liked. Then when re-runs came I figured I din't want to watch a show when it was already on and I knew nothing about it because I hadn't seen it since the beginning.

Scott Baio returned to series television in this family sitcom. It’s been a success for the cable channel but season three is the end.

Sons of Anarchy (FX)
Season seven is the end of the road for Jax and SAMCRO.

Strike Back (Cinemax)

This sitcom survived the departures of two of its three original stars (Charlie Sheen and Angus T. Jones) but all shows must end and season 12 is the end for this one.

Fox Cancels Red Band Society

Fox has decided to cancel the Octavia Spencer-led Red Band Society following low ratings.

The freshman show premiered on Fox as part of their new slate of programming in the fall, but it ultimately never found a large base of viewers. The show began with just over 4 million viewers for its premiere episode, and its most recent episode pulled in 3 million.

Red Band Society has been pulled from the schedule and will halt production after thirteen episodes, according to TV Line. This essentially leaves the show canceled.

Episode 9 of Red Band Society airs tonight on Fox. In fact, the show is airing on the east coast as we write this.

The next episode will air as scheduled on December 3, but at this time Fox has not decided where the final three episodes they’re shooting will go.

Fox could decide to release the remaining three episodes on their website or through Hulu, like ABC did with the remaining episodes of the now-canceled freshman comedy Selfie.

It had a good run.

This TV season to me has been a total bummer. Probably the worst TV season of my lifetime.

There is almost nothing that I liked this season. Absolutely nothing from the Big Four networks. I either sampled it and did not like it, or stuff that does not interest me at all. I love the half hour sitcom (hence this site) but it has all been crap!

I liked Fargo, but that was a limited ran series. The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt show is pretty good, but mostly I like it because the lead actress Ellie Kemper. Freaking AMC makes their fans wait up to almost a year to watch their shows between seasons, like Mad Men. Better Call Saul wont be on again until 2016, it's May 1, 2015 today, so that is eight more months in 2015, and then probably the show wont come back on until Spring, which is again, almost a year. Is Transparent coming back? Nothing like Jeffrey Tambor in a dress!

But seriously, this year's crops of shows has been pure crap. Praise Buddha for reruns, the internet and YouTube!
