It is with very deep sadness that I report the passing of fellow SO member JAlanRuss72. I found today via Facebook that he passed away after a heart attack. I have no other details yet.

OMG. That is so awful. Prayers go to his family during this awful time. :(

He has his facebook page linked to his profile page so I saw he and his wife. They looked like a happy couple. I didn't know him that well but I certainly remember him. It's just so sad and he was so young. :(

Same here, in my eleven years on the website. Very sad news. Thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

He's the 2nd that I'm aware of. We lost another member, (videowack) in 2008 who posted mainly on The Honeymooners board.

This is very sad. I recall his posts from several years ago, quite entertaining. 42 is too young. :(

I know through mutual friends that Jeff really struggled with losing his wife Amy. I take comfort in the knowledge that he and Amy are reunited and experiencing a peace that we on Earth never could.

Terribly sad. I saw the pictures on Jeff's FB page. His wife, their kids, their life together. I can only speculate, but Amy's recent death may have weighed too heavy on his heart and may have contributed to his heart attack. That happens so often. That's what dying of a broken heart is about. They're together now.

I feel very bad for their children and pray for their future. They are so young to suffer the loss of a parent at such a young age. All their adult milestones are around the corner. High school and college graduations, weddings, babies, so much to look forward to, and better with both of your parents. May God bless them both, Jeff and Amy.

Wow! Im sorry to hear about that! I saw Bradley post it on fb. I got to know him well on the sanford and son and good times board. That is so sad

Quite a shock. Like many, I wasn't overly familiar with the gentleman, but I do remember the moniker and I honestly remember his posts being thoughtful and intelligent.

Thanks to those who have responded...all his friends and family can see these since I tagged Jeff's FB page in the share on my own. No news yet on funeral/memorial services. An autopsy was in the works.
