Adamantium 07-16-2014, 01:07 PM I am compiling a list of Christmas episodes. I’m going to post as many as I can and you add ones I didn’t mention. Be sure to say what season the episode is from and where someone can watch it.
I will add all of the episodes you mention to my list in this first post, that way this can be the one place to find such information.

Even though I own all five seasons on DVD, I wish NewsRadio was on more in syndication. It's such a funny show, I don't know why it's not more popular. I figure it's either because Phil Hartman died during the show and maybe his death has cast a dark shadow over the series to some people. Or it could be because Andy Dick was on the show and it seems like most people hate him.
I was just thinking the other day... I wonder why Suddenly Susan isn't in reruns. I think it was for a while years ago but to my knowledge it isn't now and hasn't been for quite sometime. I'm actually not a fan but it's a show that was popular back in the day and I'm surprised it's nowhere to be found today - not even on DVD.

I would love to see "SS" come to syndication or DVD. I'm surprised by this as well, especially with the Kathy Griffin explosion in the last few years.
treky 07-17-2014, 12:17 AM I wonder why MAD ABOUT YOU isn't on DVD and/or in syndication. I think the first season is on DVD but that's all.
ajgenard 07-17-2014, 12:23 AM Speaking of NewsRadio and Suddenly Susan, there are plenty of NBC sitcoms from the Must See TV lineup in the 90s that were fairly well made hits in their day but failed to have much longevity in syndication. I wouldn't mind seeing Caroline in the City or Veronica's Closet pop up more in syndication. It's been so long since I've seen either of them (or any meaningful discussion about them has taken place) that I couldn't even tell you what they were about without googling it. Stark Raving Mad is another one. The show only lasted one season but I recall it being pretty good and was canceled while pulling in a 10.7 average share and being #15 overall, according to Wikipedia. If NBC put out a comedy with that kind of audience now...geez oh man would it be a different story.

Well that particular fact is directly attributed to this book (http://www.amazon.com/Complete-Directory-Prime-Network-1946-Present/dp/0345497732/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1405577392&sr=8-1&keywords=the+complete+directory+to+prime+time+network+and+cable+tv+shows+1946%E2%80%93present) so I'm inclined to believe it's somewhat close to being "true."
But yeah, Wikipedia can be tragically incorrect on occasion lol

Remember when USA aired short-lived shows from the '90s on weekday mornings? They called it USAM. They also showed Wings, which seemed odd since it ran for 172 episodes while the other shows on their lineup was anything from 35 episodes to (I don't know) 60 something. It was watching it on USA in the mornings when I became a hardcore fan of Wings.
I wish USA would bring back that lineup or at least that concept.

Seasons 1-5 are on DVD and reruns air on FXX.

I LOVED USAM!!! I remember them airing "Wings", "Something So Right", "Jesse", "Suddenly Susan", "Veronica's Closet", "Carol Burnett & Friends", and "Hearts Afire"...among others.
treky 07-17-2014, 01:25 PM ANTENNA TV was showing MAD ABOUT YOU on weeknights when they first started.

Just the 10 of Us
Silver Spoons
Charles in Charge
The Wonder Years
Yes, I liked USAM too!! I used to watch it in the morning before it became NCIS/CSI channel.

I think the first season is on DVD but that's all.Mad About You currently airs on FXX 4 back-to-back episodes every weekday from 11AM-1PM with occasional airings elsewhere. I'm hoping Mad About You stays in the 11-1 slot when The Simpsons joins the schedule in August.

90skid4ever 07-17-2014, 07:12 PM 1. Flash Forward
2. The Torkelsons
3. So Weird
4. Ready or Not
5. Secret World of Alex Mack
Here is hoping!
LUNCH 07-21-2014, 12:18 PM Evening Shade is good. I was never much a fan of 1990s tv in general though, but I must admit that a number of shows from mainly the early-mid 1990s look like Gold compared to more modern and current shows.
Coffeecup 07-22-2014, 05:17 PM If any of the 1990's show come to a network, I do hope they are placed on either TVLAND or Nick at night. I say this for I do want to keep the 1950- 1970's show on either Cozi or METV. If people want the 1990's shows, put them on the station that could cater to them. I'm not crazy about the era of shows of the last 25 years.
tooltime1987 11-09-2014, 07:32 PM I liked when Home Improvement was airing on the local channels Fall 1995-Summer 2007 and I hope Home Improvement will air on MeTV network or a channel like LOGO Network.
